EDUCATION PLUS! MINI-GRANT PROGRAM

This fund provides support to local schools in the form of mini-grants to teachers. This is an annual, competitive grant process and awards are made toward the end of the calendar year for use during the second half of the academic year. Since 2002, The Frank H. and Eva B. Buck Foundation has partnered with the Solano Community Foundation to award grants ranging from $100 - $500 to teachers in grades Kindergarten through 12 in Solano County's Unified School Districts. Corporate partners, such as Valero Refining Company –California and MV Transportation have participated to support science and technology grants. Advocates for the Arts contributes funds to support visual, performance, and arts education projects.
