The Nonprofit Partnership Program, established on April 1, 2009, was created to strengthen, develop, and serve the nonprofit organizations in Solano County to help them help their clients. NPP began its commitment to address community needs by focusing on Vallejo.
To help assess the needs of Vallejo, we conducted a short survey to collect information about various topics like health, education, basic needs and public safety. Information from this survey was used by Solano Community Foundation to ascertain the greatest needs in Vallejo. An RFP was developed using the survey results and issues addressed in the Community Conversation on October 14, 2009.
