2011 Nonprofit Partnership Program Vacaville
In an effort to address pressing issues (like health, education, basic needs and public safety) facing Vacaville, Solano Community Foundation conducted a short survey to collect information regarding the services available to meet these needs.
Information from this survey was used by Solano Community Foundation at a facilitated Community Conversation in September 2011 to discuss and prioritize the perceived greatest needs in Vacaville. Through the survey, residents express their views on issues and possible solutions for their city.
With the results of the NPP survey and conversation, SCF builds an RFP and will award a grant to a qualified nonprofit ready, willing and able to provide servives which will help meet the greatest need identified.
