Once a Founder, always a Founder. Twenty Founders provided their leadership in ensuring that the Community Foundation is available to help meet community needs forever. The names of the founders will always be prominently displayed in our Annual Report and other materials as the original endowment builders and supporters of the Solano Community Foundation.

Founding donors represent a local base of supporters who are committed to establishing a community foundation in Solano County. The Founders' Club members are those individuals or organizations who made a $15,000 investment in the Solano Community Foundation to benefit our County. This support combined with generous funding from The David and Lucile Packard Foundation to provide the start-up capital.

Special thanks to The David and Lucile Packard Foundation for operating grants we received from 2000 to 2003. Their interest and support in developing the community foundation movement in California is exemplary.

The Foundation will forever be grateful to those individuals and businesses that have become and will remain a part of our history. The Founders' Club is a special group who care about making Solano County a better place to live.
