LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD CHAIR - JANUARY 2010
Dear Friends and Neighbors:
It’s hard to believe that we are into the second decade of the new century. We are certainly looking ahead to a great 2010.
- Encouraged by a great inaugural year of our Nonprofit Partnership Program, we have an exciting and robust series of activities scheduled this year. Become a member and join us at 18 workshops, training panel discussions, and mixers. We focused on Vallejo in 2009 and will be concentrating on Fairfield and Suisun City for our
community conversation in September.
- With recovery of the economy, the Foundation is also recovering and funds under management are growing.
- Our current operatons are completely streamlined, so we are working even smarter, more effectively and efficiently.
- With revenue from membership fees and solicited donations, we will make grants this year through our Nonprofit Partnership Program, Community Memorial Fund Giving Program, and Education Plus! Mini-Grant Program.
- As we bid farewell to long-standing Board members Brett Johnson and Don Erickson, we warmly welcome Teresa Fitzgerald, CPA.
