The Solano Community Foundation helps donors receive immediate tax benefits and allows them to stay involved in recommending grants that are made possible by their Fund.

When you make a gift of cash, appreciated stock, or other assets to Solano Community Foundation, we can establish a non-endowed (Donor Advised) or endowed fund in your family's name. Family members of all ages can then work with our professional staff to suggest ongoing uses for your fund - targeting the issues you care about most.

When you create an endowed fund through Solano Community Foundation, you have the opportunity to benefit the community forever with a permanent gift. Your contribution is an invested over time. Earnings from your fund are used to make grants addressing community needs. Your gift - and all future earnings from your gift - is a permanent source of community capital, helping do good work today and in the future.
