SUISUN WILDLIFE RESCUE & EDUCATION CENTER DISASTER RELIEF FUND

The Suisun Marsh Natural History Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization, dedicated to the rescue of native California wildlife and to the preservation of the Suisun Marsh, working through the dual avenues of wildlife rescue & release and environmental education.  The Sandra Emanuelson DVM Memorial Wildlife Center, dedicated in 1987, is an asset of SMNHA.

For more information about the Center and services offered, visit their website at http://www.suisunwildlife.org.

The Sandy Emanuelson Endowment Fund for the Suisun Wildlife Rescue & Education Center was established to provide funding support to cover the annual salaries (in perpetuity) of three named employee positions critical to the operation of the Wildlife Center.

Grant distributions from this non-endowed Fund will be used for three specific purposes only:

  1. The repair, replacement or relocation of the Suisun Wildlife Rescue & Education Center building required as a result of a natural disaster (specifically, damage due to flooding, earthquakes, wildfires, rise in sea level, arson, extreme high winds, and lightning).
  2. Developing a new set of plans for an upgraded Wildlife Rescue & Education Center building to replace the existing building.
  3. The replacement of outbuildings, like-kind for like-kind.
