The Benicia Chamber Community Development Fund was created to give residents, businesses, and partners a way to directly support transformative, community-led initiatives that strengthen the social fabric of our city.

This fund provides resources to address local needs, expand opportunities, and foster a thriving, connected Benicia for all.

What the Fund Supports

• Collaborative Partnerships & Events
  Bringing neighbors, businesses, and organizations together through inclusive activities and shared community experiences.
• Community Leadership & Engagement
  Building leadership capacity, strengthening social connections, and creating opportunities for meaningful involvement in civic life.
• Equity & Self-Sufficiency
  Ensuring all residents—especially those facing barriers—have fair access to resources and opportunities to grow, thrive, and contribute.

Why It Matters
With major shifts facing our community—including potential impacts of Valero’s closure—this fund ensures Benicia has a dedicated resource for community-driven solutions. Funds will not be used for Chamber-only events or internal activities, but instead for initiatives that benefit the broader community.
