2024 FHS Staff Scholarship Recipients Announced!

Congratulations to these six deserving recipients who earned a 2024 FHS Staff Scholarship!  We wish them every success in accomplishing their goals during the next chapter of their life.

Annual Renewal Criteria

For students awarded a four-year scholarship, there are renewal requirements to be met in order to receive their annual renewal payment:  they must be a full-time student and maintain a 2.0 GPA each grading period, and they must complete and sign a Student Enrollment Verification Form and submit it along with their Official Grade Transcript to SCF each year.  In addition, students must have a brief 'how's it going' conversation (written, in-person, or by phone) with the FHS Staff Scholarship Committee Chairperson each summer before the next school year begins.

Eligibility Criteria

Only students enrolled as FHS graduating seniors may apply for a FHS Staff Scholarship. Students interested in applying should ask their teachers for more information or contact the H.S. Discipline Secretary for program details. To be eligible to apply for either a one-year or four-year FHS Staff Scholarship, students must meet the criteria listed below:

• Be a Fairfield High School senior.
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
• Show consist effort in achieving goals within the academic curriculum to qualify for acceptance in a school of their choice.
• Show perseverance and fortitude in overcoming difficult circumstances in their personal or academic life while successfully attending Fairfield High School.
• Be involved in extra-curricular activities on campus or in the community.
• Plan on enrolling, or already be accepted as a full-time student at a college/university of their choice.

Please note:  there were no new FHS scholarships awarded in 2020, 2021, or 2022 due to Covid-19 challenges.
